In celebration of its 110th anniversary, Wyeth Nutrition® isn’t just looking back on its rich legacy of nurturing Filipino families. It’s also upholding its promise of shaping a healthier future for generations to come through its high-quality, innovative, and science-based products and by championing environmental sustainability.

Wyeth Nutrition’s trusted milk brands, including Promil® and Bonakid Pre-School®, are manufactured in its plant in Cabuyao City, Laguna. Its manufacturing facilities operate under world-class quality systems that leverage advanced technologies and strict safety protocols to deliver excellence in every product. Rigorous research and development are also undertaken to ensure that products meet the latest scientific standards in young child nutrition.

Anchored on the belief that healthy children need to grow in a healthy world, Wyeth Nutrition® has put sustainability at the heart of its operations, committing to reduce its environmental footprint and achieve net-zero emissions by 2050.

As part of this commitment to help care for the planet, Wyeth Nutrition® products are made using 100% renewable electricity. Electric material handling equipment is also used to move manufactured products within the site, while an electric van is utilized to transport products from the GMA distribution center to customers in Metro Manila to minimize emissions.

Since 2020, Wyeth Nutrition® has been collecting and diverting post-consumer plastic waste from the environment equivalent to 100% of its packaging footprint, a feat that puts the company ahead of the Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) target of 80% collection by 2028. It has also eliminated the use of plastic shrinkwraps on pallets, replacing them instead with pallet nets and belts for raw and packaging materials and glue for finished goods.

Heading into the next 110 years and more, Wyeth Nutrition® will continue its mission as a pioneer in science-driven nutrition through Product Innovation and Science Leadership. The focus will be on investing in advanced research to deliver clinically proven formulations that support immunity, growth, and brain development, and leverage breakthroughs to meet evolving consumer needs.

At the same time, it will also prioritize Manufacturing Excellence and Digital Transformation by becoming the “Northstar factory,” or the best in class in all of the Nutrition operations—powered by automation, digital technologies, and mastery of fundamentals—to ensure operational excellence, safety, and cost competitiveness. Initiatives like manufacturing optimization and advanced process controls will drive efficiency while maintaining world-class quality standards.

“Our vision is clear: To lead in innovation, sustainability, and operational excellence—creating a world where every child has the healthiest start in life and every family thrives on a more livable planet,” said Wyeth Nutrition® Factory Head Kristine Joy Aguinaga.
