Janine Berdin has released a song about unrequited love dubbed “bagay nga tayo pero,” her passion project where she became hands-on from the songwriting to casting for its soon-to-be-launched music video.

“I’m so so proud of this one, wrote and did some arranging and producing overall,” shared the “Tawag Ng Tanghalan” season 2 grand champion.

She co-produced the song together with ABS-CBN Music creative director Jonathan Manalo and Eugene Yaptangco. It is currently part of Spotify Philippines’ New Music Friday playlist.

For the first time, Janine was able to showcase her visual arts skills and made the cover art for “bagay nga tayo pero.” She also personally created its lyric video with the help of friends who are into animation.

The singer-songwriter likewise conceptualized the plot of its upcoming music video and even handpicked the stars who will be part of it.

Janine is one of the multi-talented artists that are part of the ABS-CBN Music roster. Last year, she released her EP “WTF I actually wrote these songs” under Star Music featuring the tracks “The Side Character,” “Pagod Na Ako,” “SHE WAS ONLY 16,” and more.
